CardGate
Android · iOSCardGate intercepts your most-used distraction apps and puts a flashcard quiz in the way — only after you answer correctly does the app open. Anki-compatible (.apkg import, AnkiDroid sync, CSV/TSV), three quiz modes (flip, type-in, multiple choice), and an optional "Earn App Time" mode that builds a study-driven attention economy.
About
Peak State Apps is operated by Adrian Scheibelhut, an independent developer based in Germany. The studio focuses on small, focused tools that solve a specific problem and don't try to do more than that. Code for browser extensions is open source where it makes sense; mobile apps stay closed but never include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Direct sales are handled through Lemonsqueezy; mobile apps are distributed through Google Play. Every customer email goes to one address, answered by the same person who builds the products — see Contact.
The privacy promise
Across every Peak State Apps product:
- No third-party advertising. No marketing trackers. No analytics on your usage of the apps themselves.
- No account creation required to use the products. Where licensing is involved, only your license key, your email (for delivery), and a per-install identifier are stored.
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
